These problems do not happen on Tiger (I checked). This is a useful improvement on the 20050726 build but I've noticed three issues with the pre8rc4 20050904 build that are specific to Panther. There are too many minuses for me to recommend this app, but hopefully, it will continue to improve. The interface is straightforward, if a bit bland. MPlayer has an onscreen display (OSD) for status information, nice big antialiased shaded subtitles and visual feedback for keyboard controls. MPlayer supports displaying through some hardware MPEG decoder boards, such as the Siemens DVB, DXR2 and DXR3/Hollywood+.
